I have just installed bukkit on a new server from my son. He can access the minecraft server directly on the machine but when we try to connect on multiplay the server can not be found. I have the server at my home on a cable internet acces with a Cisco Router EA3500. I have setup the firewall settings and also setup the gaming settings to no avail. I have the port range setup between 25000-25999. Can anyone tell what I might be doing wrong witht he router settings? The IP address I am using is 68.5.171.49 It would be greatly appreciated.
