Need help learning Java

Hey guys,

Recently I've started to try to learn Java. I have found that it is hard than I thought so I need some help. I've been using a book called Java Programming 24 hour trainer (Not literally 24 hours.) and the Java tutorials. So far it seems like there is so much to remember that I can't seem to take it all in.

I am Guessing you want to learn how to code a plugin, well bukkit has a nice wiki page that hasa tips for coders and shows you some tricks to coding a plugin. Heres their wiki link: http://wiki.bukkit.org/Main_Page

I think hese will help but I am also learning how to code java and these have been the resources I have been using. Hope these help!

 

coreymichealroy I can't code a plugin if I don't even know the Java language. Yes, that is one of the things I want to do. I also want to develop mods.

 

Mods are much more difficult, so I would start with plugins. As for learning java try thenewbostions tutorial, Oracle's Java Tutorial, and Java for Dummies.
