Need a Very Nice Person!!

Hey, i need a very nice person to make permissions and ranks and stuff like that. If you are willing to make it for me, please post a comment saying you will, then ill reply to you putting what i want in.
ill also put a list of plugins in my server. I dont know if this is important, but im renting a server from BeastNode. thanks, rek.

 

You may not like this answer, but I think it's important you learn to do them yourself.

Otherwise, you'll always be relying on other people every time you have a permissions issue. They happen often enough I'd recommend any server admin knows how to manage them.

i usually dont trust these videos. missing out valueable information. check the plugin documation instead.

so what permissions plugin are you using, exactly?

 

heres a list of plugins and what i want, first. idk what type of ranking system will work, will setrankPEX?
anyway heres the plugins: kingofthe ladder (any user can use),Minequery, worldedit (Only Admins, headadmins, coowners and owners can use), no swear (only co-owner and owner), Creative Gates (Admins, headadmins,coowners,and owners) armor abilities (all users), buycraft (Co-owners and owners), Safeexplosions (Admins, Headadmins, coowners, and owner), WorldGuard (same as WorldEdit), CoreProtect (mods, admins, headadmins, coowners, and owners), mcMMO (Admins,HeadAdmins CoOwerns, and owner), MobArena (HeadAdmin CoOwner Owner) Essentials,spawn and protect, chat (HeadAdmin, Co Owner, Owner) VanishNoPacket (Mod, Admins, HeadAdmin,CoOwner, Owner), ChestShop (all users), Factions (All Users) AntiCheat/hack (Head Admin, CoOwer, Owner.

now the ranks: Guest (Just /spawn and /help) can not use the stuff i put in the plugins
Builder: (can build, /spawn, /help, /bal, /sethome, can use the plugins i showed
Mod:Can do what Builder can do, and the plugins i showed
Admin: can do the ranks of below, and do the plugins showed
Head-Admin: can do the ranks below and the plugins showed
Co-Owner: Can do the ranks below and the plugins showed
Owner: can do the ranks below and the plugins showed


PermissionsEX would be find. what ever works with a easy ranking system

 

rektok, worldguard is not the same as worldedit.

 

you could base off the default GM config, will be a good start.

Donator-Bronze: he can fly, (It may sound small but there will be ingame items i give) and use the plugins as builder
Donator-Silver: He can fly, tp to others, have access to /gm and can use the plugins as builder
Donator-Gold: He can fly, tp to others, have access to /gm and can use the plugins as Mod

Builder color: green
Mod color: Purple
Admin color: red
Head-Admin color: cyan
Co-Owner color: Orange
Owner color: Blue

one more rank... sorry, i feel like a idiot.... lol, but this rank is needed
VIP: can do all the things a Co-Owner can do
VIP Color: Purple

I might be able to do it but it will have to be groupmanager. I know group manager is old but I recommend it a lot, cause its the easiest permissions plugin to edit. Stop being lazy and do it your self, go to one of the videos on groupmanager that was made from woopa gaming and you'll understand it. 1 thing to Remeber is that permission nodes are what to look for when u download a plugin

 

groupmanager isnt old, it gets updated around every week.

and i have watched vids about this, and tons of "how to make permissions" pages, im not being lazy, im just sick and tired of going over tons of tutorial that dont work even when im following them letter by letter!

sorry just a little frustrated.

 

stop watching videos then. read documation instead. ive followed the groupmanager wiki and it works fine, while videos made by random people often mislead you and make you break the YML.

the vid is sounds great, but when i use notepade++ all thats comes out of the permissionsEX is a bunch of scribbles.

 

make sure everything is lined up and make sure you dont have random capitals, the vid should explain it all

 

how is it going with your server

 

I haven't read the below comments but I use beastnode and it's file editor is awful you need to get notepad++ and download the file, do all ther permissions and reupload it

 

my server is great, i actually just got some on to to a permissions for me. but i do know how to work with permissions now. i need your guys help. idk if this permissionsEX permissions.yml is ok to use. is there any hidden tweecks in it? thanks, rek.
