I think there's already a plugin out there which allows you to control the spawn rate of ALL mobs types, but I dont know what it's called atm. Update: The plugin I was thinking of only limits how many spawn, it doesn't speed up the spawning. This raises a question. What method of spawning would you like? I can think of 3 methods that wouldn't generate too much lag: 1. Make it so evenly or randomly spaced blocks act like they're spawners but arent 2. Make it so existing zombies multiply (spawn a new zombie next to them) at regular or random intervals 3. Make it so zombies attack passive mobs and turn them into zombies upon killing.
Well..... I like the idea of method #1 I have an idea! If you select a block after typing a command.... Something like this command /Moarzombie select. Monsterapocalypse can do this. Mobs can do it too. And then theres tmcz, a plugin devoted to a DayZ like zombie survival.
