mysql used for some plugins?

    i saw that a few plugins need mysql, but i dont know how to install it.
    do i just have to install it on my linux server? or do i need to create a database and a user after
    install it?
    plz help

    if you got no idea about mysql , dont touch it!
    plugins will deliver a sqlite database if needed ( e.g MyWarp)

    Mysql boosts performance for big minecraft servers (32+)

    Only if you have enough players in to make a difference, or plugins that use large txt files. If its just a few players running plugins that don't need large txt files, you're better off without mysql.
