Remove the IP from the server.property file. Bukkit automatically detects the IP for you, and this may be why you are getting this problem.

  10. i Will try when i get home but i think something is already using the ip

@jack.wannan IP is no issue, the port is.
Remove the IP from the server.properties and check if the server starts.

  12. ok
but how will i know the ip? because i want my friends to join

@jack.wannan You forward your internal IP, not your external IP, that is just there.

  16. @Zombie_Striker THANKS

    Welp its broken again

fixed by deleting all the stuff in the .json files

@jack.wannan Did you port forward the firewall on your server?
Did you port forward the router to have a port open that points to said server?

  20. i port forwarded on my hub

This is why we use dedicated hosting, but if you messed up your port forwarding lookup a tutorial for 2017 minecraft portfowarding

  22. It was my firewall McAfee was not letting minecraft through

  23. and i did the portforwarding correct without a video.

  24. and i now have a server hosted by beastnode
the ip is dmdcraft.net if ya want to see what me and my friends have done
