My RAM for my server will not increase! Help!!

    8Giga bits?! (Gb) so you dont have 8Giga Bytes? (GB) I think that's your problem

    He's fine with his 8 gigabyte I think.
    Win + R (will open 'Run...'), then type cmd. Now you have a console window, type in:

    It says I have a 64 bit server but it also says "Picked up _JAVA_OPTIONS: -Xmx1g -Xms1g" I assume this means that it is being told to run a max of 1 gb :| How do I change this?

    I know but where would I put that? The "Picked up _JAVA_OPTIONS: -Xmx1g -Xms1g" came up when I ran java -version in CMD.

    on my server it says it can not create a Virtual Machine then stops the server when i have nor than 1 gb of ram and won't finish loading with one
