Okay so I'm really confuzzled... I've seen this Yogscast Modspotlight, on a server: And the mod doesn't even have server on the thread. So how do I really install mods, can I just add the client mod into the mods folder in Bukkit folder after I installed Modloader on bukkit, I'm SO confuzzled, Mind = BLOWN, I really want to troll my friends like Honeydew did, but, I have no clue on how to get the mod on a vanilla server, nor tekkit one, nor bukkit one D:
It's possible to run mods on Bukkit, but first, the mod has to support SMP, then it has to be "ported" to run on the CraftBukkit server instead of the "vanilla". Check the MC Port Central forums for ported mods you can download, and also you can request mods to be ported as well. This mod doesn't appear to support SMP, not sure how that video was made. To use it on your server, someone would first have to port it from SSP to SMP (not an easy task), and then to Bukkit.
The video was achieved like so: Simon pre-recorded himself talking and moving around that room. The video was then saved and loaded into the TV mod. Lewis then ran minecraft, and acted out a rehearsed situation in which he entered the house and chatted with simon. The whole thing would have taken a few runs, to keep in sync with the pre-recording. In other words, that wasn't on a server. It was lewis watching a video of Simon on single player.
