    ChairCraft - Seats in Minecraft!
    Version: 1.2.7 - Download
    Source: Github

ChairCraft makes it possible to make chairs in Minecraft!
    Permission-node: 'chaircraft.sit'
You need to sneak and right click to sit!
It is configureable to check for signs at the sides, and the max width of a chair (or sofa).
A chair can be a stone or wood stair or a slab (any type):

Unable to double stack half blocks in 816/817 minecraft 1.66. with chaircraft 1.22 running. No errors showing in the log

@Kuja_Diartua & @Dr_Nick_UK both CB816 and CB817 are unstable non-recommended builds. Because of that most plugin-developers do not support those builds and instead waits for a recommended build. Also, MC 1.6.6 is filled with bugs (as are all the 1.6.x versions).
I highly recommend people to stay off all non-recommended builds unless the Bukkit team states that it will not break anything, and wait with upgrading Minecraft to 1.6. Stay with the latest recommended build (CB803, MC 1.5_01) although you lose some of the new features.

As @NopeDK said, the development of ChairCraft is halted until bukkit is updated to Minecraft 1.6.6 with a RB build. :)
Most bugs are in Minecraft itself, or in bukkit.

Now there is an RB out for 1.6,

Just tested Chaircraft. the arrow goes to the top of the block, and you go to the top of the arrow, so not sitting on the chair anymore. just looks like you're trying to do something nasty with an arrow... xD

Now you just need to wait for the plugin to be updating.

I wasn't saying the plugin was at fault, I was bringing to the dev's attention that this was something he needed to look into to make his plugin compatible with the latest build. I understand he hasn't updated it to the latest build (as it's written in the description '803'), I'm just bringing to his attention things that need updating.

@Dr_Nick_UK as written on another thread, all plugin developers recieve a message whenever a new CB-build is promoted to RB, and some even subscribes to a RSS-feed with the RB, so he knows.

2011-06-01_11.49.26.png There is some incompatibility with 1.6.6 and Chaircraft 1.2.2. Whenever I sit on a chair, I am placed on the feathers of an arrow who's head is stuck in the top of the seat. So I am placed a block higher that I should be. But, when I see another user sit, it renders correctly. Likewise, the person who appears to sit correctly, from their Point-of-View they are sitting on an arrow.

Can i disable sitting on steps? i'm using the 'Showcase' plugin and it uses steps to show items. It can be a bit annoying when trying to put something on the step and you start sitting on it...
Also, even whith 'Heal_when_seated: false' it is still healing me.

The Player sits down for a second then moves up a block so they are are more like sitting on a arrow one block to high. This only occurs after sitting for more that a second. Does this support muliworld?

From the people above that is the case.

when you get out the seat you bang your head and take damage if there is only 2 blocks above the seat. Because it moves you up one so it thinks there is only one.

I find it hilarious how bugs can come out of nowhere and create the oddest results.

Looking forward to being able to re-add this.

i think this is the same thing like Showcase Shop Plugin

the Creator of the Showcase Shop Plugin must change the Shop Block type ( a GLASS BLOCK ) to another block type ( stone slap ).... befor 1.6 the items in the Shop sitting in the GLASS BLOCK yet with 1.6 it dont work.... the shopitem pushed out of the GLASS BLOCK

    The Problem:
Notch has fixed a Bug... and i think this bug fix pushed the arrow out of the Chair and your Plugin dont work right yet....

sry for my English i hope u understand... :/

    Haha. Wonderful.

But on a serious note, would there be some way to treat the chair as a mob? This'll be in the loosest sense in order to get the "saddle" behavior. Hope that's possible :/

When I'm sitting it looks like i am standing in the chair for the other player.

When sitting, on my screen I see myself sitting a half block above the stairs/half block and also I have an arrow sticking up my butt XD

Overall.. cool idea, but this is kind of goofy... haha.
