Version: v1.2 Beta - Google Code
Follow Development Status: Twitter - WMisiedjanTech

With WirelessRedstone you can create connections between to redstone points, When power comes into a Transmitter sign it will create power on a Receiver sign.

I'm currently developing version 1.0 with a lot of new features!
Check out source code/Development status on:

    <font color="rgb(255, 0, 0)">WARNING:</font>
Version 0.2 is NOT be compatible with older versions.
Remove the WirelessRedstone folder in plugins before upgrading!

    How does it work?
    * Step 1

    - * Place a sign wherever you want the redstone to come from.
    * Place on the first line of the sing: [transmitter] or [WRt]
    * And on the second line any name/number you want. (Channel name)
    - Step 2
    * Place a sign wherever you want the redstone to go to.
    * Type on the first line of the sign: [receiver] or [WRr]
    * And on the second line the SAME name/number that you have typed on the second line of the transmitter. (Channel name)
    - Step 3
    * Power a Redstone to the transmitter sign.
    * Now a power will be created on the receiver sign!
    - Step 4 (Optional)
    * You can now create more Receivers or Transmitters on the same channel or a other channel!

The WRt and WRr tags are available since version 1.0a.

I'm running into something weird. Using MagnetBlocks to create elevators, I use WirelessRedstone to power them. This update broke that. THEN, to top it all off, I can't get the signs to stay on their own channels!!! I can't even make a return button because of it!!!

Ok, I've noticed now that the channels SUDDENLY SWITCH CHANNELS TO THE CHANNEL BEING USED AT THAT MOMENT. (Emphasis, not yelling)

    I'm also getting
In the console when I use a button/switch linked to a WirelessRedstone sign...

Hey, I am also getting a strange bug, when I activate one channel, all channels suddenly activate. This is an awesome plugin and I would really like to use it. Is it my bad or is it a bug?

As he stated, it's in there. I can't remember where, and I'm not going back to look. If I find it, I'll tell you.

I think it's in the Target folder. I just looked, and saw it in there.

@Xlaits and @Shroomie: It's a bug introduced in the v1.0 rewrite which hasn't been tested properly, use my fixed version:

Ah damn, I was looking at the wrong page and didn't notice a page 8...

Also, for the record: I am working on my own version of WirelessRedstone. It's made from scratch using only the idea of WirelessRedstone, not the code (as replacing a sign with a torch is brilliant).

It will be open-source, too and available soon. I just did some tests and tackled every method of duplication/infinite torches/whatever. Even when using TNT, Creepers, etc. It will be a no-nonsense function with only simple permissions (you can either use it or not), no commands or channel owners - unless there is a very good reason why that ever was added to this plugin.

Oh, and it will remember sign orientation and I also want torches to be placed as to how you placed your sign (as that can make a difference in redstone circuits).

My channel names are acting really weird for some reason! Channels just simply change! "TerakuDoorbell" just changes to someone else's "deur bel"! Urgent bug!

Sorry for the unannounced inactivity of me. I had a short 'vacantion'. I'm back for a while now and will start fixing all the issues reported tonight. Check my Google Code page for the process.

Updated! I hope people can have fun again. I'm still considering some features like: delay's,clocks, etc. Maybe I'll add those in a fork or something. I'll first experiment with it a bit and see if it lags allot when using a lot of them at the same time.

Can you add an option to remove the protected channels feature? I'd like to share one channel with all the players.

I want this plugin sooo bad. I can't figure out how to install this plugin. In 1.0b, 1.0c, and 1.0e there is no jar files so how do I run it? I tried to use the jar file V0.2 and I got it to work on that version. If you could get me some instructions or something I would greatly appreciate it. :)

Hey, thanks for making this plugin, I absolutely love it. I just keep getting this error though:
[SEVERE] Error occurred while enabling WirelessRedstone v1.0e alpha (Is it up to date?): null

I start up my server put in some signs and it works perfectly fine but after restarting the server I get this error. So I shut down the server, delete the settings.yml file, start the server back up and everything works again but my signs didn't work anymore so I had to redo everything I had made. The next day I received the same error was disappointed, will there be a fix for this soon? I'm running Windows 64 bit if that makes a difference.

    Plz Update to 950!

Seems to be a few bugs with 1.7 and 1.0e

I first created a channel "1" which had one transmitter and 2 receivers. Technically it should only have two receivers, however the other 3 I created keep re-appearing. For some reason everytime I activate this particular transmitter, the transmitter itself becomes a torch indefinitely powered on, and for which I can only destroy by breaking the block beneath it. However if I power any redstone near this torch (not sure if near or just any at all) the sign will re-appear (or torch if the block is being powered) in which I can then destroy it. Other receiver signs then have the "WRr" text, and spawn 4 torch items every time I power the transmitter for the same channel.

I then created a channel "2" elsewhere. This was actually underground to provide power to pistons, the receiver was in a hallway one block wide. It seemed to work just fine the first couple of times, until it made two torches in front of it that are also protected (and removed the resdstone).

If I look back at it... This may have been caused when I added a second transmitter (the circuit below was originally on channel 1 as well) was when both circuits stopped working, and therefore started giving weird issues. I was able to fix both issues by deleting the setting file (and therefore removing all transmitters and receivers).

Yeah there is a small redstone thing change in the higher builds, Although i'm leaving in a hour for a vacation for the next 2 weeks. So, The source is always available on google code for people that are interested in releasing a fix. Please DON'T release it as a seperate thread but please it as a comment. then I can post it in the main thread and give you credit.

Could you please add a config file option to remove the damn channel owner feature? I'm getting sick of it, and my server is in an enclosed group of friends, we really don't need that!
  29. Offline

I'm not sure if these have already been reported already, but:
    1. if you mount a receiver on a wall, it will mass duplicate torches/signs when the the transmitter's power supply toggles on/off.
    2. Toggling receivers on/off causes text on signs to go blank (if you are writing on it).
  30. Offline

I get a wonderful little bug with 1.7.2 and 1.0e where if I turn on the transmitter, the receivers turn to torches (like they're supposed t0), but when I cut power...... the receivers don't change back, and then if I try to break them, it tells me I can't.

ok i dont know if anyone else has gotten this but ill just post it.
its been working fine until 1.7...
everytime i try to use the wirless signs i make
    it says on the console:
    [SEVERE] WirelessRedstone: null
    and doesnt work... any solutions?
