I don't just stop lava from buckets, but also the item as you can spawn it in your inventory though.

It shouldn't be that hard to add/replace with water. But I'm just very busy lately.

I guess I should look into that sometime soon. Also for my other plugins.
This is a nice small plugin to first give it a spin on though. But I've kinda been hesitating on starting to use PermissionsBukkit on our own server. Which is an important step in changing the plugin.

But I'll keep it in mind.

- Added support for Bukkit's built-in permission system, with default permissions set (only ops can get/use lava). Will still default to using the Permissions plugin if it is available.

I uploaded a version today for 1.1-R6. I didn't check whether it actually works, but that version doesn't throw any errors in the CB#2030 build. So just give it a try. I can't actually upload a version of the plugin marked for 1.2 to dev.bukkit.org until they release a CB for it.

so im new to this but how can i change the perms on this so that moderators can place lava??

 

See http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/stoplava/ . That lists the (single) permission node.
I cannot help with setting up permissions though. For that you'll have to choose a plugin that handles permissions and see how that works.
