    ItemCraft is a Bukkit mod that allows adding new item and block types, crafting and furnace recipes, and custom tree generators and more. Using a Modloader and SettingsGUI interface it allows subplugins known as ICPlugins to be loaded to support client mods. ICPlugins can be created by translating a client mod using the ICTranslator ICplugin. Using a ModloaderMP interface (ported by krnlyng/liar) it allows porting multiplayer mods to bukkit.

    Installation & Usage:
    • Back up your world(s). Just in case.
    • ItemCraft.jar goes in same folder as craftbukkit
    • IC plugins go into ItemCraft/ICPlugins folder under craftbukkit. (folder is autocreated the first time)
    • uncomment (remove #) in front of all plugins you want to use in plugins.ics (autocreated in ItemCraft/ICScript)
    • Make sure you have the recommended version of craftbukkit in the title - since this is a mod of that version in particular.
    • Delete/rename the META-INF folder inside craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar (Use some decent zip program (e.g. 7zip) that can do it.)
    • All players on the server needs to have the client mods installed
    • If you use the 16 bit entity id packet mod (in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it)), All players need (flan's unofficial) ModLoaderMP client mod
    • All players also need the 16 bit entity id packet mod (overwrites a ModLoaderMP's class so make sure ModLoaderMP is installed first) in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it) If decide not to use the packet mod, you can turn it off putting this in your startup file: false setEntityIDPacketMod
    • Sometimes you get block/item ID conflicts, between plugins. You then need to set the conflicting ids in the startup script using setID command: example. They have to be set before the plugin that uses them is loaded. Note also that there is typically a props file on the clientside you have to edit the ids on to be the same as well.

      Vote here not in this thread anymore (it gets lost in all the other stuff)

      Reporting errors:
      • Read known issues - don't report those.
      • State the version of CB, ItemCraft and ICPlugin(s) you have problems with
      • If your client crashes, start the client from command line so that you get the error report.
      • Make sure the mod(s) works in SSP First before you report any errors here.
      • You are more likely to get a response if you describe the problem in more detail and do some testing yourself first of under what circumstances it occurs
      • Do not ask for uploads of minecraft.jar.
      • Do not pm me.
      • If you have problems installing, you are likely doing something wrong. Make sure you've followed the instructions exactly, read the FAQ and Wiki. If that doesn't work you can always ask in the thread, while I will likely not reply, there are others who can help you with your problem. But at least try to get it working yourself first.

    I got the bunny spawn issue worked out, the problem im having now is that orges and wraiths are not spawning, even though the spawn difficulty should be changing to 1 with that config file.

    ItemCraft can turning on SSP mod, but it's musst be translated in IC plugin for server.

    Maybe the moddeveloper could make a official statement about the plans for Spout / a timeline? From what I understand Spout will download required mods automatically, per server with Spout, eliminating the need for any client side mod to be manually installed. And maybe eliminates ? 50% of questions asking the same things in the forums as a bonus, but that might be to much to hope for ofc.. :)

    i dont get a black screen in the client, it just fails to connect to my server, it says read timed out. however i did post the error i got using minecraft from the command line previously but here it is again anyways

    I have a little problem. I had installed Balkan's WeaponMod for Bukkit. Everything works, but i can't set Entity Id's...
    Everytime i had error said:
    [INFO] RegisterEntityTrackerEntry error: entityId cannot be greater than 255

    It's possible to configure that? Without it spears is invisible... :/

    Can someone explain where I need to set my settings files for Mo's Creatures? I followed the FAQ guide but I'm confused because I never got a startup file to begin with (or atleast, I don't know what the startup file is).

    Well, after 3 days i already fixed my problems to get itemcraft running with different mods,but....
    could someone pls(!) convert the plugin BuildCraft? Using those tube-systems would be so awesome! i would do it for my own, but im not into all that java script language :(

    also i got a question about the ICFancyPack. i build a Planter's Pot but i cant plant flowers or any other thing on it, why? :/ i couldnt find anything on the internet to solve that problem >.<

    Hi everyone, so this is related to porting a mod over. I've been reading the guide found at and I've managed to make my way to step 23 successfully, but when I run the server and the gui starts up I type in the snippet of code, which I did replace with the correct directories, but all I get in the cmd is something along the lines of file is invalid value or c is invalid file. Can anyone help explain this or perhaps give me an updated code.

    Directories specified are C:\Users\FavorLock\Desktop\ICKWallpaper\retro\Mod and C:\Users\FavorLock\Desktop\ICKWallpaper\retro\Translated Mod on my computer.

    I tried writing the code as and pasting it in the gui. "C:\\Users\\FavorLock\\Desktop\\ICKWallpaper\\retro\\Mod" file "C:\\Users\\FavorLock\\Desktop\\ICKWallpaper\\retro\\Translated Mod" file

    I also tried using "C:\\ICKWallpaper\\retro\\Mod\\" file "C:\\ICKWallpaper\\retro\\TranslatedMod\\" file translate1 and nothing happens still. I just get an unknown identifier for the word file?

    I also get unknown identifier for translate1. So I'm very much confused as to whether these are supposed to be changed to something else or what. But if someone could give a thorough explanation of what to put. As far as I understand at this point the mod.jar should be in the mod folder and I only needed to change the directories to that of my computer.

    Ok, well I've achieved a new result, but I'm still waiting for any sign of the translatedmod folder to have a new file in it. I've received absolutely no errors in the cmd, but I can't tell for sure whether the thing is doing its job or not. :\

    There is juste something that I struggle to do : I would like to be able to use commands with my plugins.
    HandleCommand(String command, String username, ICommandListener icommandlistener, ConsoleCommandHandler console) in my BaseModMp on the server is never called ??
    What I am doing wrong?

    FYI, in case anyone's having issues and on the chance this hasn't been brought up, Phoenix Terrain Mod appears to interfere with ICNTrees (not sure if it does for the mod in SSP or not). It prevents the altered trees from spawning it appears. Same goes for ICNReef when that isn't crashing itself. ;)

    Just want to let u know that theres a bug with ICKSlopes. When u copy a selection with Worldedit and want to paste that somewhere, items like sloped floors change into ceiling stairs.

    I have Bukkit and ItemCraft running correctly (seemingly), however when I get in game and open up my inventory I can tell there's a profound difference in the amount of blocks showing up between multiplayer and singleplayer (see bottom for comparison screenshot). I had thought that TooManyItems showed all available Block IDs, in which case there is something very odd going on because it's not showing a lot of stuff that I know is available in Singleplayer, but it also doesn't even show some stuff like different colored wool, even though those can still be spawned and work fine.
    If I type /give ID for a block that should be there but isn't, I get kicked with the message 'Internal Server Error' with this error message in the server console:

    I should also mention that everyone on my server is getting the same issue, and they've all installed and can use SuperSlopes correctly in singleplayer.

    As you can see in these two screenshots, the amount of sloped blocks showing up is quite different between MP and SP:

    I saw asdaarg respond to someone who seemed to have a similar/identical issue to me earlier on in this thread, but his response didn't really help. He just said that it happens when you autogenerate the folders and icscript, but how else are we meant to do this? The installation instructions specifically tells you to run ItemCraft once to autogenerate these things, then close it and run it again. Which is what I did.

    About FiniteLiquids, am I the only experiencing a lot of bugs? Most importantly, a lot of water blocks act as Ocean blocks (Infinite water source blocks) instead of the normal FiniteLiquid blocks.

    Mo'Creatures should work with the current Itemcraft build, as well as bukkit build #1000. I've gotten it to work for me.

    Besides, it is listed as one of the mods for the current build.

    I have a problem when I try to click on any of the download links :/ They all seem to send me to a blank page. When I try to use "Save Link As...", it will save it as a 0byte file. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know how to fix it?

    I do not recommend to use it though. For some reason it was very laggy and all the spawnrates were messed up. And on top of that, all the dead mobs (Randomly dying) didn't despawn.

    yeah you can add a script to fix the spawn rates, i dont notice lag on my server. My server runs Mo creatures, industrial craft and now as of today build craft :3

    I am aware of that, and I had that configured. This was working perfectly on 1.6.6. When updated though, I've been having problems. Ogres for example, their spawnrate was set to zero. They still spawned.

    EDIT: Is there any chance Itemcraft will be updated with the newest ModLoaderMP?

    It is possible to install ItemCraft + Spout ? I have tested but it's crashed.. =(
