    Description:

    ItemCraft is a Bukkit mod that allows adding new item and block types, crafting and furnace recipes, and custom tree generators and more. Using a Modloader and SettingsGUI interface it allows subplugins known as ICPlugins to be loaded to support client mods. ICPlugins can be created by translating a client mod using the ICTranslator ICplugin. Using a ModloaderMP interface (ported by krnlyng/liar) it allows porting multiplayer mods to bukkit.

    Installation & Usage:
    • Back up your world(s). Just in case.
    • ItemCraft.jar goes in same folder as craftbukkit
    • IC plugins go into ItemCraft/ICPlugins folder under craftbukkit. (folder is autocreated the first time)
    • uncomment (remove #) in front of all plugins you want to use in plugins.ics (autocreated in ItemCraft/ICScript)
    • Make sure you have the recommended version of craftbukkit in the title - since this is a mod of that version in particular.
    • Delete/rename the META-INF folder inside craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar (Use some decent zip program (e.g. 7zip) that can do it.)
    • All players on the server needs to have the client mods installed
    • If you use the 16 bit entity id packet mod (in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it)), All players need (flan's unofficial) ModLoaderMP client mod
    • All players also need the 16 bit entity id packet mod (overwrites a ModLoaderMP's class so make sure ModLoaderMP is installed first) in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it) If decide not to use the packet mod, you can turn it off putting this in your startup file: false setEntityIDPacketMod
    • Sometimes you get block/item ID conflicts, between plugins. You then need to set the conflicting ids in the startup script using setID command: example. They have to be set before the plugin that uses them is loaded. Note also that there is typically a props file on the clientside you have to edit the ids on to be the same as well.

      Suggestions of mods to port
      Vote here not in this thread anymore (it gets lost in all the other stuff)

      Reporting errors:
      • Read known issues - don't report those.
      • State the version of CB, ItemCraft and ICPlugin(s) you have problems with
      • If your client crashes, start the client from command line so that you get the error report.
      • Make sure the mod(s) works in SSP First before you report any errors here.
      • You are more likely to get a response if you describe the problem in more detail and do some testing yourself first of under what circumstances it occurs
      • Do not ask for uploads of minecraft.jar.
      • Do not pm me.
      • If you have problems installing, you are likely doing something wrong. Make sure you've followed the instructions exactly, read the FAQ and Wiki. If that doesn't work you can always ask in the thread, while I will likely not reply, there are others who can help you with your problem. But at least try to get it working yourself first.

    Could you explain this a little bit more? This addon allows you to create new recepies/items/everythingelse or implement existing ones in other client side addons? Also, how do I go about creating them?

    If you feel the need to complain, code your own mods and install them yourself, not your personal army here. If you had read the thread, you'd see that I and one other had this problem, solved using this:

    Make sure you update your client with the mods you use. It really is as easy as downloading the zip file and running the batch file.

    to your plugins.ic file. Given you're using 1.6.3/1.6.4 that should fix your problem.

    Hello. This MOd is really FANTASTIC!

    Here is my Question: mod

    How can i activate ModloaderMP mods.
    in config Folder in the cfg there is PLanes enabled.
    But how does the server load this?
    and what about the mods Folder?

    Didnt find any documention how to use this in the wiki.

    It woult be very great to have one in there
    for BuildCraft IndustrialCraft and Flans Mods.

    Hi fella could you post link to your craftbukkit thats modded with the planes i can sort the rest out you can take link down after 5 mins of post so its not being downloaded lots i got planes on SP and MoCreatures with itemcraft and slopes and airships or 100% ok sever all ok to with itemcraft slopes all ok but i put planes in and i try to spwan planecrafting bench flash on like to craft then gos off so its not there i get an id error so not sure when im stuck with this. Any Help will be great .

    yerh i have got this and belive im installing it correctly .. obviuosly not



    anyway as for babyanimals an mocreatures they do not work together unless u want baby full grown lions that cant attack with a giant shadow , gazelle for dogs and kittie litter box's that act like pigglets... but i think i finally have mo creatures working thanks to o4kapuk, im just waiting for info on the planes but seeming as it is 12:18 am im going to sleep now .

    ok have a good sleep but MoCreatures works on CraftBukkit #1000 and the babyanimals are in MoCreatures as well they work fine to i have not had any probs so far only planes doing my head in at moment lol i will look for bugs later in MoCreatures ok

    Oh… Sorry, my English is very very bad, and I do not understand most of your post. Can you please speak easier? Thank you.

    0. Backup. Everything. Don't repeat my errors.
    1. Go to the Flan's thread and install Planes (and all other mods needed for it) on clientside.
    2. Download craftbukkit #1000, open it with WinRAR (or something like it) and delete META-INF
    3. Download ItemCraft.jar (make sure it's 1.6.4, put in to the folder where craftbukkit jar is and delete META-INF from it, just in case.
    4. Start server (see OP-post for instructions) and wait for it to initialize, then stop it.
    5. If you are using IC* plugins, install them now as usual.
    6. Download ModloaderMP-enabled version of Planes from liar's thread.
    7. Open ItemCraft.jar and add all *.class files to ItemCraft.jar (to subfolder of net/minecraft/server)
    8. Place planes.txt and plane.properties to the folder where craftbukkit jar and ItemCraft.jar are.
    9. Start server, wait for it to initialize, start client (modded on step 1), login and enjoy.

    (Well, I can miss something, if you have problems with my instruction – feel free to post exceptions/logs/other diagnostic info, if I can help, I will.)

    Thanks for the Help, but it is still not working:
    I've tried my own installation of Bukkit 953 and ItemCraft 1.6.3 and the test server (with Bukkit #953 + Itemcraft version 1.6.3).

    On both, the same error.

    On the official test server, I tried Industrialcraft 8.50 and 5.10 both the same.

    Maybe relevant that I use Mac OS X?

    If, can anyone make me a test-server working on windows, so I can test it on OS X?

    Yes. Here. Version from Flan's thread will not work, it's for vanilla server, not for ModloaderMP.

    No. You need to place ICMCreatures.jar to folder ItemCraft/ICPlugins (will be created after fisrt start of server with ItemCraft) and uncomment (remove leading #) it in ItemCraft/ICScript/plugins.ic file. Remember to install all necessary mods on the client, including 16bitEntityMod for ModloaderMP (it's needed for creatures).

    You are installing IC's *.class files to jar's root folder. This is incorrect, you need to install them to subfolder of net/minecraft/server.

    Hey I tried the new Mo-creatures player released mod and was wondering is it for bukkit ver 953/itemcraft 1.6.3?

    I tried a new test server with Bukkit 1000 Itemcraft 1.6.4 and the mocreatures with Flans WWII weapons, Airplanes and K's superslopes. I installed the mods one at a time and they all worked up until mocreatures. I was able to login to my world for about a minute. As soon as I saw the first new creature from mocreatures it locked up. no errors on the server. Now when I login with the client I just get a black screen. Metainf folder has been deleted on client side and I am using all the client downloads from the recommendations of this thread... stumped. Let me know if mocreatures only works on bukkit 1000 or 953. thanks :)

    But have 1 prob.

    After start play WW2 a few mins, it suddenly doesnt work.

    I mean cant interact with guns.

    I've installed Industrialcraft into Itemcraft.jar (craftbukkit953.jar in the test-server) into net/minecraft/server.

    If I install it into root folder, Its still working, but without loading Industrialcraft.

    i have all the client mods installed and my client crashed -.-

    i have the following mods installed : modloader,zombe's modpack,toomanyitems,ModloaderMP,superslopes and fancypack.

    what i did : put itemcraft.jar and craftbukkit in the same folder.
    run as
    java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -cp ItemCraft.jar;craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar org.bukkit.craftbukkit.Main
    plugins i installed(itemcraft plugins)
    ICslopes
    ICKfancypack
    OS : Windows 7 64x
    i got no log errors

    No, it's not normal, but I have the same problems. WW2 guns is not working well for me even in single.

    Server does not need it.

    Did you install IndustrialCraft to server from Alblaka's thread? It's not for bukkit, it's not for ItemCraft. Go to the liar's thread and download his version.

    You say here, you are using the test server with file craftbukkit953.jar - with this version of the test server (which I assume you obtained from HERE), there is NO Itemcraft.jar file in the server folder - unless you've added one. The test server runs without needing a seperate version of the Itemcraft.jar file. With this version, you put the server-side Industrialcraft files - obtained under the 'Bukkit 1.7.2' heading from HERE directly into the 'craftbukkit953.jar' file, and of course, they go into net/minecraft/server folder within the jar.
    The version to use client-side for Industrialcraft is v 8.10, as this seems to be the version that is the same as the server-side mod. If you use any later version of Industrialcraft, you may have problems. I have not tested any later versions of Industrialcraft with bukkit #953.
    Please also note that Industrialcraft currently does not work on bukkit #1000. I'm fairly sure the only problem is with the 'ChunkProviderGenerate.class' within the mod, as it all seems to load, but fails to generate a world - probably there has been a change in the way bukkit generates a world, and because Industrialcraft uses new / extra ores, it needs its own generator. The mod author is unavailabe to fix currently since he's away until the 25th of this month.
