[MCCoD] Minecraft Call of Duty - NEED DEVELOPER!

    EDIT: I was wondering whether this could be more of a private project because, well, it wouldn't be fun if all servers were mccod.
    I'm going to register mccod.com when the plugin is done! There will be like multiple servers :D and yea!

    I'm currently using seeds to shoot a handgun and I need to work on a machine gun. It should kill a player in 3 or 4 hits. I have not tested it out though.

    Yeah, I have a very early beta version.
    Out of all those things, the version I currently have includes:
    • 2 teams.
    • /switchteam
    • The plugin is the whole server
    • I did not add a time limit, but I have it so when the max score is reached, the game ends.
    • After the games end, the map switches
    • Team spawns
    • /setspawn blue <map>, /setspawn red <map>
    • When a player dies, they are kicked, given a death, lose 3 points, and when they join they go to their team base
    • Friendly PvP is disabled
    • Stores kills and deaths
    • Kills = +5 points, deaths = -3 points.
    • No /shop
    • Your points stay when the games end, or else there really is not point... of points.
    • Chat system ([<points>][Blue Team] JjPwN1: Hi)

    Suggestion, add a config option for type of respawn:
    No Respawn = true
    Respawn Time = #
    Instead of kicking them why not just kill them and send them back to a lobby with no pvp. If No Respawn is true, they stay there until the round is over (for S&D type games) or they stay there until the respawn time is up, then they're TP'd to their base or spawn point.

    Nah. Also, so you can't get on Minecraft right now? I have a little server set-up for testing the beta version just for me and other people who want to help test. The only plugin on it is MCCOD.

    I would like to test, but I can only play on the weekends and friday nights. (I hate HOMEWORK!!!!)

    Got my internet back today <3

    I continued the plugin in "offline-mode" and tested it on my server etc. almost finished it, but had problems with the map rotation...

    After trying to find a solution for around 5 hours, but only getting errors over errors, I made a nice GunGame plugin which I'll release today.
    If you want the source code of the almost finished version [ I still prefer the one JjPwN1 made] PM me.
    I could also add the source code of his version to github and would like to continue working on this with JjPwN1!

    I have a config option named "ban_until_next_round". In fact, here's a preview of the config right now:

    It took me a while to figure out map switching... but I got it. I may upgrade it later. Probably way later. For now, it just goes "map_1" to "map_2" to "map_3", etc. And when it hits the last map in the list, it goes back to "map_1". Also, if you look at the sample config^, you can have maps in the same world, or separate ones.


    If you go to the MCCOD BukkitDev page, you can find the test server ip for it. It's at the very top of the description.

    Hey, would it be possible to keep this plugin on the private side?
    I mean I am getting domain MCCOD.com and servers full featured on this plugin. It would be like mcpvp servers. It would initially be worthless if all servers could give out the same features.
    I don't want 1000 servers being MCCOD.
    That's all I really request.

    Yeah, you can help. I am actually trying to block friendly pvp with bows and arrows. I am failing with it right now. Also, will we be using your Github repository, or should I make my own?

    I'm not sure if I understand the point. My suggestion is have a config more like this:

      NoRespawn: true

    maps:
    The goal here being to let players run around in a "lobby" room with PVP off. You could set lobby and respawn points via command. When players die they're spawned in the lobby where they can run around or view the game (think ref box) so that they're not waiting to retry the server when they die. This also solves the frustration of a user waiting for it to end, walking away a minute, and then missing the new round. Players won't like having to wait and click on the server over and over. This helps avoid that.
