I've got a problem with my server, or rather with chat line. Can I (or someone who uses my server) enter any commands or write words in it? I've downloaded Permissions and Essentials plugins, but chat still didn't work. What should I do?
you are going to have to be a lot more specific: bukkit/craftbukkit version essentials version permissions version OS describe 'doesn't work' you are pressing 't' for chat? right?
Would be beautiful. Could probably whip up a google docs thing, but not sure what these forums have to offer.
i looked at the New Topic page. It is basically a form already. Most likely, we just have to ask someone with some power to do this.. or grant rights...

Agreed. But since they posted the whole "Community Rules" and specifically this: "8. Do not ask for a position on staff." I don't ask for anything anymore. They'll contact me if they want help I guess. --- merged: Jan 27, 2011 6:36 PM --- No, we actually need the build number you downloaded. Look at the link below. It will list build numbers. Its up to you to know which build number you downloaded when you downloaded it last. Sadly, there is no other way to know as of yet. http://bamboo.lukegb.com/browse/BUKKIT-CRAFTBUKKIT/
I've downloaded it on 21st, maybe, it's all because of bad version. I'll try to download the #158 build, thanks.
Good idea. If you have problems, I've found build 141 is pretty solid, although it has bugs (but then again, all builds have bugs, but none of them are that bad in this build).
do you have any output from the server? (paste it here) what were you doing when the problem occurred?
