MapPalette deprecated

    Hi, I'm currently working on a painting plugin, that allows you to create pixelarts with blocks, and it converts it to a map, so you can hang it on your wall etc. I did some research about drawing on maps, and found out, that all of the colors are deprecated in the MapPalette. Why is it deprecated and what is the way to get around it? And is there a way, to get the color, that a normal map would draw for a specific block? Thanks.

    @mcdorli I've never used maps, so I'm not positive on this. But just because something is deprecated doesn't mean it doesn't work. Did you try it?

    It's working just fine, but I'm afraid, that it will not just be deprecated in 1.9
