No, just drag everything out of your plugins folder and test it, then put it back after.

Well then, try deleting config and restarting, then spawn mobs.

Your application does a great job of getting a server up and running on a Mac quickly and simply. I've built more than a few servers by hand, but I'd recommend it to anyone who's never set up a server before. Nice job!

It's nice to see a Mac-centric application for Bukkit. I've been a Mac user four 25+ years and an Mac Technician/Administrator for a newspaper publisher, then a consulting firm, and most recently an university spanning 15 years or so. If you ever need a beta tester let me know. I'd be happy to help.

    Alright:)
Current version is simplistic and made with applescript, but I'm learning Obj. C, and working on ABS v2 which will be much better. I will take you up on your offer once that reaches alpha. Thanks!:)

  23. If you wouldn't mind giving me some help, I am currently in a predicament. I downloaded the application (or whatever it is called) and ran it. I successfully created a Bukkit server, but I am having problems implementing plugins. To be honest, I am completely clueless. I have tried multiple things, but I have gotten no luck. If you have any suggestions, they'd be much appreciated.

You install plugins by dragging them into the plugins folder.

  25. And where am I to find the Plugins folder? :/

Its in your server folder. CraftBukkit folder.

  27. Do I drag the .zip, folder, or both into the Craftbukkit folder?

New question - if I am receiving an error message of:

20:11:00 [WARNING] **** FAILED TO BIND TO PORT!
20:11:00 [WARNING] The exception was: java.net.BindException: Address already in use
20:11:00 [WARNING] Perhaps a server is already running on that port?

    What are the suggested solutions?

    Restart computer.

That error means the port is being used by a server that is currently running. Switch to Terminal.app and see if a server is running. If it is, type stop at the command prompt to stop the server. If Terminal.app doesn't appear to show a server running that means an instance of the server you had started previously did not shutdown correctly. You can restart your computer, as hawkfalcon suggested, or you can launch Activity Monitor.app, use the search field in the top right corner of the Activity Monitor window to search for the word java. Once it finds the java process click on it and click the Quit Process icon in the top left hand corner of the window. Then, click the Force Quit button. You might have to enter the username and password of an account with administrator privileges. That will stop the sever. Trying to relaunch the server again should be successful without the FAILED TO BIND TO PORT! error.
