Love lag, what should I do for a server?

    I get the horrid LSOD on 1.8.

    The 1.9 (third) pre-release finally cleared the lag up for me..
    However there isn't any bukkit builds for that.

    I really would like to be able to work on my server, but I can't do it with the immense amount of lag in 1.8.


    What should I do? Is my only option waiting for the official 1.9 release?

    edit: nevermind. even 1.9 is a bit laggy for me.
