Problem/Bug Java/Lang/Object error

need help guys .. icant start my server

 

Thats barely even an error with any value... usually a startup gets a lot further before having an error, so the only real possible likelyhood is that you're either using a corrupt server jar file (ie, its really small), not a server jar at all but the api instead (I got bukkit-1.7.2-R.02.jar and renamed it craftbukkit.jar that works right? No) ... or, you're poor system is so old/outdated / hasnt been updated ever and is running java 1.5

The server jar file will vary in size depending on the version, but for references, the 1.7.2 craftbukkit.jar was ~19meg, and the 1.7.10 craftbukkit.jar ~20meg, the 'spigot version of craftbukkit' 1.8.x is around 16-17meg, the 1.6.x craftbukkits were about 15-16megs, and get about 2meg smaller each version backwards through 1.5.x and 1.4.x and 1.3.x


So if you are using a 1.7 file and the jar is only 5megs, then either you renamed some other non-craftbukkit server jar (like the bukkit jar file) or you have a corrupt jar file corrupted by a broken download or file transfer from where you had it. Or you are not using the right type of java system to launch your server...
