in the log i saw Code: 2011-04-06 10:37:55 [INFO] VVerewolf tried command: ixrai12345 12 times !! in 1 day is this a xray command ??
.....That means that VVerewolf tried to use /ixrai12345.......Nothing to be worried about, (s)he's just trying that command 12 times a day.
yeah...i know... this only says that he typed /ixrai12345...but someone told me that this is a xray command at first he said that he didn't know what i'm talking about but 2 minutes later he said that this is a older xray command and he was joking with another player i want to know if theres any xray that uses this command by default he used 12 time today for nothing ?
I wouldn't worry about that. I think that mod would only work in SP or you have to have it installed on your server. The only other thing for x-ray would be a texture pack, but that you could not see though console.
There's a 1.4_01 newb xray that i found that has a server plugin called xrayDetector inside the jar there's a yml Code: name: xrayDetector main: com.newby.Modder.xrayDetector.xrayDetector version: .01 author: newbyModder commands: ixrai12345: description: xrayDetector usage only usage: /<command> The same ixrai12345 command that i saw with this player http://www.minecraftforum.net.exter...t=262809&sid=a3e2c465667d0d42bed5d11d6c3ee1ad i think that this is a proof that he's using xray...don't you think ? and yes....it works with SMP
Wrong. newb Xray 1.4_01 works in SMP. However the thread was locked because it allows cheating, but the OP also links to a fix to (supposedly) block it at the server level that @nhonho just linked above. I only saw one post in that thread verifying that it successfully blocked X-ray'ers from their server so you could try and test it out yourself. So at the very least, VVerewolf is TRYING to cheat. You could confront him about it, and threaten with a ban, or just silently watch him path his way to 20 diamond ore before you ban him. That command is coming up because the user doesn't have permission to run and/or that command doesn't exist on the server. While this gives you a good indication that he's X-ray'ing, it's not blocking him, because it's a client-side mod (i.e. the mod is still working on the client level). Just because the server doesn't recognize/allow the command doesn't mean the user isn't actively using it clientside. Ah, I see (don't have much experience with X-Ray mods), although I would have thought that the mod wouldn't send any commands to the server regarding the x-ray if it was entirely clientside.
