Essentials is well updated and has a basic home system. I liked MyHome but that one's no longer updated and I don't want to risk losing all the homes in between updates because a mod developer quit.
It hasn't been updated in nearly a year and the whole comment section is filled with error reports. Some of them pretty critical.
Does it not work for you? Generally plugins break when minecraft changes, not necessarily when an update occurs.
It's unstable. Admins for example have no command access other than /point and as the plugin is no longer updated I could stand to lose all server homes if the plugin ever does break completely.
