Is my computer specs good for a minecraft server?

    I want to play with friends mainly around 5-10 people.

    Computer = HP Pavillion Note Book G6

    Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II P960
    Quad-Core Processor 1.80
    GhZ

    Installed memory (RAM) - 6.00 GB RAM (5.74 GB Usable)

    System type: 64-bit Operating System

    Depends mainly on your internet connection speed. Any crappy computer will do for a minor server around 20 people. Your computer looks very decent so it should be able to handle around 40-50 people if your internet speeds 10 mb/s or higher. EDIT: Notebooks aren't very good for servers mainly because of their use of wireless. Try to use a LAN connection instead.

    A computer will never use both, unless you trunk the connections, which isn't possible with wireless and wired.

    Your computer will "prefer" one connection over the other if multiple connections are active, this preference can be set in the operating system under the network settings
