Is it possible to transfer a mod to a plugin?

    Heyall! Just wondering if it was possible to transfer a mod (1.2.5/1.3) to a plugin?.. As I would like to transfer mods like the crossbow mod etc. for my server.. Please help! Thanks!

    I don't think so, and if it is, It will most likely be very difficult

    you cant turn a SMP mod into a plugin. find mod in mcportcentral, install it on server, make users install mod on client. thats the only way

    Well that's not a plugin but a server mod, he's probably asking a way to get the mod on a server without a client mod. It might be possible depending on the mod, by changing textures and stuff but no new stuff can be added in a plugin.

    Yea that's what I ment!! But no new stuff? How come?

    Because we're developing on an API and the API doesn't have it, and if we would add stuff in some other way. Then you would have to edit the Bukkit JAR and the client.

    Can the citizens attack the player on sight sometimes?
