Is it possible to be able to dig/build around the spawn without being an OP?

I run my own craftbukkit server but it's annoying having to op everyone just so they can dig near the spawn.

Is there a plugin or some other way to be able to accomplish this without having to OP people?

 

spread out.. maps are infinite..
unless you have a plugin making your spawn area like 300 or something

 

I agree with spreading out but my friends keep nagging me to op them so they can dig when we first start a map. I don't want to do that because I know sooner or later they are gonna start spawning stuff and that makes the game not as fun.

 

you could op them for now... then deop them once spawn is nice and pretty

otherwise, there may be a plugin, but i'm not aware of it (not that that means much)

 

The spawn protection area is really small, only like 16 or 32 blocks...

 

Move their spawn point somewhere far away to stop the nagging (like using a plugin, I don't know, PlgSetspawn? )

 

Either say no, or just temporarily give them OP.
