IP Whitelist {Continued}

    There's a difference between choosing not to support those who haven't bought the game, and servers that allow people who haven't bought the game to join, and closing a topic when someone wants to be able to join his own server when Mojang's servers go down once again.

    @OP: It's quite simple. You'll first of all need to keep checking whether the servers are functioning properly, for which are multiple websites and scripts available. Then, when the servers malfunction, you'll want to set the online-mode to false, and get the IP from the users that try to join. When the IP doesn't match yours, kick them from the server with the message of your choice.

    Locked. Once again.

    You are free to complain to Mojang about their servers going down. However, we do not support offline mode servers, no matter the reason. Nor are we required to provide support for a mode of operation that is inherently insecure, even if you really, really, really want us to.
