Ever wondered if you had a better pvp k/d ratio than your friends? Ever join a server that had leaderboards that showed kills and deaths only to find out as soon as you joined another server, your stats didn't carry over? Introducing: aGlobalStats! A leaderboard plugin that tracks pvp kills, deaths, blocks placed and more, across all servers! Everything is tracked on a secure per-player basis, and is viewable online on a separate website! what about server-side security ? you send the data via a simple http request but how you do recognize or trust a server ?

btw code obfuscation is useless.

can i see stats just for people on my server?

 

Eventually, yes. I've already got the code plugin-side implemented to be able to add that function. I just need to do a bit of programming for the website and it'll be done. No eta on when that will be though, I'm merging the aGlobalStats webpage with the rest of my website so I can use that domain for my other plugins/blogs/etc, without having it be completely separated. Everything that I'm doing is pretty much one giant project to help further my abilities in programming, regardless of the language. I've also been contemplating making an app for iPhone/Android where you can see your stats (and server stats) on your Android/iPhone(/iPod) but that's a ways down the road yet. I've got a lot of things planned for what I want to do to this plugin, and server-specific stats are one of them.
