You can do that. Just write to the file with for example php, mysql would only take unnesecary resources.

I would like a MySQL option as my web server and my game server are on different machines. MySQL would be a much better way then FTP to the machine, read the file, change the file, disconnect. It can still have flatfile just make it a config option for those of us that want it.

FYI, it explodes when you type code in the console.
Might want to do some player checking on those commands =)

I'm going to simplify it to a scenario.
I want to set up a php script where when after it's finished, a redeem code is added and a player is able to redeem it ingame.

When I try to add codes into the .codes file, (not using /code, but physically changing the .codes file) and then try to redeem them ingame, I get

Could you tell me why? Is this intentional? I'd really like for this to work.

Whenever someone redeems a code i created for 1 iconomy coin. I get this error.

Is this another plugin thats causing this? or something i can fix?

 

for some reason i cant download redeemcodes.zip it says it doesnt exist or something

 

feature idea : redeem code add permissions to user.
for example : user buy a Donator rank on the site, he gets a redeem code tu use ingame, he use it and he become Donator.

server log should have it. as for a query command, no probably not

 

i got really not very much time the last days but soon i will update redeemcodes and mysignedit to newest build
if can ask me for update it to a specific build.

and if a code is redeemed i is removed.

 

The best build to update it to, at the moment, is 733.

 

maybe add the abiliity so a player can only use it once?
