Can you make meteors not fall in the spawn protection zone, [defined in the bukkit.yml] I would like explosive meteors in my world, but not blowing up the spawn.

    Clucky

I made mine so that it wouldn't go into my main world, however I just recently got a message saying 3600 meteors will strike within the next 900 seconds... Why is that?

    Code:
    shower:
        blastradii: 10
        meteors: 3600
        orientation: random
        duration: 900
        slimySurprise: false
        checkrate: 30
        setfire: true
        chance: 150
        worldsToExclude: 'Japitaja, Battlefield, City'
        warningMsgs: true

PS: my main world is named Japitaja

OK, so I've got the same thing. The "Worlds to Exclude" doesn't seem to actually DO anything.

    This is my setup:
    Code:
    shower:
        blastradii: 6
        meteors: 1200
        orientation: random
        duration: 299
        slimySurprise: true
        checkrate: 5
        setfire: true
        chance: 850
worldsToExclude: 'Flatgrass, Flatgrass_nether, Ice, Sand, Water'
        warningMsgs: true
Yet I just got two showers, one on Ice and one on Flatgrass. I turned off the whole plugin after that - I don't want people's stuff being destroyed in a regular world (I want a single world with high risk/high rewards)

I believe you've forgotten a return in MeteorShowerTask.run(). Specifically, where it runs through the exclude array, you have it output that the world is excluded but then don't actually stop it from happening.

I love the plugin:D. I know its been mentioned before but in the future, can you possibly make it so meteors do damage to players but not land? I would turn blast radius down to 1 but I would like it to hurt players(evil I know) at least 5 blocks from the meteor, just ya know not destroying the land :D. The first time a meteor shower occured, my goodness, all the mountains died lol, I kinda forgot to edit the config file lol. Great Job!

    Hi there,

Maybe something for the TODO list

Last week i've been playing around with spout on our test server.
Plugin sound and texture packs for certain events bring a lot of extra athmoshere to the server.
Like the leveling sounds of levelcraft and season textures of ambiantseasons.
Wouldn't it be nice to have, instead of a message that tells there is a meteor strike coming, an air raid siren would sound.

We are currently using the towny mod for building protection, could this plugin get a parameter to not explode in town block?
Or should the towny mod get a meteor removal parameter like it has for mobs?

  12. That sounds like alot of work, but it could be very cool

I do the Op-Only plugin in my home server and I am an op in it and it says this:

    /mshower [start/stop] [meteor-amount/world-name] [millisecond-duration] [coord-X] [coord-Z] [world-name]

And I tried changing the config but nothing happens!!!

Because dead mod is dead. It doesn't work for current bukkit version, sadly. I loved this plugin, and I really hope its updated.

This plugin seems really cool but it doesn't seem to be working with the latest version of Bukkit. (Beta Build #2034 1.2.3-R0.1) If I'm wrong please tell me.

Also I understand that this plugin throws fire balls to the top layer of the world. For example the surface of the world. How are you doing this? Is it just a random Y cord? Or is there some way to figure out the top layer?

    Thanks in Advanced,
    NXTGUY

Hey, SiKL0N3 I have moved your plugin to the inactive subforum. You have not updated your plugin in awhile. If you choose to update in the future, make sure you've updated and tested your plugin with the latest RB. Then you can report your plugin (report button on the bottom of your post) saying that it has been updated. The plugin will get moved back ASAP as long as it matches the submission guidelines.

    Thank you :)
