    Picasso - Paint your world:
    Version: v2.7

My plugin enables users to simply click on a wool block to alter its color as long as the player has a brush(stick) in their hand. It does this by simply cycling to the next or previous color in a list.
Now my plugin allows players to paint stone blocks too! Easily swap between smooth, cobble, and moss stone!

For the users to enable the plugin for themselves all they need to do is type "/picasso -s" and to disable just repeat the command.

For users to set different items as brushes, all they need to type is "/picasso -b" with the item they want to be a brush in hand. (Only items with id's above 255 work.)

For users to set it so they only paint one color they type "/picasso -c [color]", [color] is whatever color they wish. (A wrongful attempt at a color name will list all available colors.)

This Plugin now supports Permissions by Nijikokun. (should work fine without it too)
    • Permissions are:
      • picasso.use - in order to use the plugin at all
      • picasso.use.wool - to be able to paint wool
      • picasso.use.stone - to be able to paint stone
For use without permissions a file is generated on the server with an option called "AnyPlayerUse" Default is =False. If you make this option =True then any player on the server will be able to "paint" with picasso assuming they know the commands.

    • Changes the color of a cloth block that is clicked with a stick in hand.
    • Supports Permissions
    • Left and Right clicking work.
    • toggling player picasso capability from in game.
Download the plugin at the bottom of the post!

Your plug-in isn't very download friendly. Try just uploading a jar for people to download.

It would be nice if you could add the feature on left click it goes back to the previous color. Might have to add the stick with this (which is a good idea)

Would be awesome if it could cycle the colours with redstone power :p

Attach it to a clock or something and you can have a funky floor :D

Would love to hear what people think of the new version! Any changes or suggestions?

It's nice, but can you have so that the stick comes along with the ability activation? It's annoying having to spawn sticks (Yes I am that lazy xD)

Sweet idea! but the ability to change the itemID from 'stick' to whatever I like would make this go a LONG way. Do you know how many 'lets-give-sticks-special-abilities' plugins there are? they all overlap :(

Maybe I can add in a parameter (that defaults to stick if you dont use it) that sets the brush to the item type you are holding.

That would be a better idea.

Great plugin. Have used it heaps. But when you change the colour of a large wall scrolling thru colours is a pain. What would be really good is if once you have chosen the colour you want to use you could maybe type /picasso Blue and every block of wool you click goes straight to blue instead of having to scroll thru every colour each time. Or maybe give colours a number or abbreviation.

I was thinking of doing that actually, just wasnt sure if anyone else wanted it. so it shall be done (in the next update)

@silentdojo - mind if I get the error report though?
  26. Offline

There's no error it's just on no matter what after /picasso -set. Do it again and its still on.
  27. Offline

oh, ok. With that information it should be a lot easier to fix XD
