    ecoCreature 0.0.5b - PvM/E Rewards

    Description:
    Based upon the stories of iMonster and CookieMonster, this nifty little plugin will allow you, the server owner to hand out more than the default, boring sets of items dropped from creatures on your server.

    Apart from allowing extra drops, how about economy support through iConomy & Essentials Economy as well as BOSEconomy? But... we just forgot one, MineConomy! (it works, too!)

    Did you like how iMonster treated your currency rewards without those decimals? Fully optional here!
    As if that wasn't enough, reward and penalty messages, fully customizable from your end!

    • Added FixedDrops, open your ecoCreature.yml and add FixedDrops: false right under OverrideDrops. You can set the value true or false, if true... creatures will only drop the specified amount in your loot table, otherwise when false it takes a random number between 0 and the amount you wanted. This only needs to be added if upgrading from 0.0.5 and don't want to re-generate your config.

    I've been rather busy with real life and its issues now for a while, I'll get working on a new version as soon as time permits and I feel like I'm up to it.

    With that, there should be enough fixes to please pretty much all of you, hopefully.

    I searched these forums for info on WolverineMode but got nothing. I assume this is a future feature. What does this do?

    The plugin is blocking default spawns from happening but now I get no spawns at all. Here's my config:

    What other plugins do you have alongside it?
    It also seems to not be able to find plugins/ecoCreature/ecoCreature.yml

    It's for when wolves are useful, it will allow players to hunt with their wolves and get rewards.
    But what do you mean with spawns?

    I have permissions and iConomy up to date too.. But me as Admin I don't get money from killing the monsters.. :(

    Sorry, by spawns I meant item drops. After installing ecoCreatures none of the creatures dropped anything when they died. Here's my info.

    I got it working :D I just had to read a little haha :p and since I was working on how to get Permission set up and was working on the server all day I wanted to get this working fast! but I got it to work now! Amazing Plugin.. Now people can get money w/o trading each other.

    This plugin works great on my server. Just wanted to report some wierd things that would be nice if they'd be fixed.

    Seems a little odd killing creatures with Air i gotta say. Would make more sense replacing that with fist or something ;)
    Also kinda the same thing when you use a bow and shoot em down. It says "You killed (creature) with a blow from you bow.

    It's been fixed in a futuristic version that's coming out once everything settles down after the 1.5 update

    Nice! Really love your plugin.
    We kinda will use it in a way most people doesn't use it i guess though. We want to make an really advanced drop system from the mobs and have really small chances of more items. So that you may get an Obsidian or maybe even an Cake when you kill a Zombie. Only tested with about 3-4 items a time at this moment but hope the system we want will work.
    Just saying so you know what we use your creation for [meat]

    Running through some real life issues as of now, but a new version is coming with some tasty updates.

    It works just fine for 1.5, I run it on my live server.

    okay I guess I have a problem then because nobody is getting anything when defeating monsters, and sometimes when a monster dies it vanishes without even dropping loot or keeling over, any ideas? I thought it was the 1.5 update and the plugin needed updating

    It doesn't work on our server in 1.5. When I attempt to load it, it says it is enabled. But when I check /plugin list, it is red (disabled), and if I attempt to reload it, nothing happens. Somehow it is not getting enabled in bukkit. :/

    I've been testing ecocreatures with MCMMO and noticed messages + rewards won't happen when you are unarmed (MCMMO has a skill for unarmed which you gain up as a combat skill) I didn't know if there was some way to put that variable in.

    love this plugin tho (soo much customization for me to play with)

    On rb733 it displays messages wrong (just shows symbols), not sure if it is actually working though, based on drops in brief testing I believe it was.

    I actually tried a similar solution in regards to combat as mcMMO uses previously, the "bug" followed into ecoCreature. Let it go and went another direction that works, just not alongside mcMMO.

    If you hit the creature ever 1 or two seconds with your fists or holding something that doesn't add damage apart from fists, you will notice that you will get a reward, instead of just holding down the attack button. Funny and random? Not really ;/
