[INACTIVE][ADMN/SEC] EasyProtect v1.2 - Protection at its simplest [1000]

EasyProtect - Protectiion at it's simplest.

PLEASE READ BEFORE FLAMING:
I don't think I have seen a plugin that protects in such a simple way.
It works for ops and you can also use permissions.

If you want any features added, just ask.


Features:

• Automatic Protection around the spawn. Radius customizable in the config..
• Create and Delete Custom areas using /ep create Name Radius or /ep delete Name
• Permissions per Area
• Permissions for spawn only.

How to use:


The first time it is ran it will create a config file in which you can set the default protectionradius around spawns, after you are done you can reload the config using /ep reload

Custom areas can be set with /ep create Name Radius and it will create a protected area around you in the selected radius.
To delete an area just type /ep delete Name

• EasyProtect.Area.Build - For placing and destroying blocks inside areas.
• EasyProtect.Area.Create - to /ep Create
• EasyProtect.Area.Delete - to /ep Delete
• EasyProtect.Area.Reload - to /ep Reload
• EasyProtect.Area.Version - to /ep Version
• EasyProtect.Area.Spawn - To build at the spawn only.
• EasyProtect.Area.<Name> - To build in a certain Area. e.g.: EasyProtect.Area.Narwhal
• And of course:
  EasyProtect.Area.* - to be able to do anything.

pls update for Bukkit #1185

the config "ShowPermissionMessages: false" is not working

 

Would be AWESOME if you could have it announce, in the chat, the names of the specified zones you enter...

Having some issues with the permissions. Using PermissionsBukkit and SuperpermsBridge-1.2 and RB#1337.

Here's what I currently have in my PermissionsBukkit's config.yml.

I went to a specific spot and issued an `/ep create awesomedudehome 100`.

I'd like to be able to define a home for each user and allow only them control for that specific spot. Do these permissions look correct, or should I remove EasyProtect.Area.Build from the "users" group?

Currently, any user can go to the awesomedudehome area and destroy/build/etc.

I really wish I could use this plugin. Got tired of it not working, ended up going with ALERTER 1.35 (http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/alerter/).

Hey, i was just wondering if ops can bypass this, because i realy REALY need a protection plugin like this that ops cant bypass, and fast

 

Would you be able to add setting of custom messages, custom color, or just disabling them in general? and also adding a non-pvp option to all areas that are protected? I would love if you could add these things because it is my most favored plugin for protection on my server, hope you have a nice christmas

EDIT : Maybe you could also add the ability so fire cannot be extinguished when punched by regular players?

the radius doesn't work.I set it at 10000000 and still only a few blocks are protected

Can you set it for groups, as I am wanting a guest area where only guests can build, obviously.. so can i set it for, let's say "/ep Guestarea NikkyyyHD(me) g:Guest Then only guests can build there and vips builders ect can't?

 

I Need Help!!! So I installed and it worked great, so I have a fellow Op test it out. I made the region within a fly. So I Deop him, then have him try to break it. He succeeded, He was not in creative nor was he a op. I really love this Plugin and I think it's also the most simplest. Please Reply!

 

When you delete a sign,it puts it back, but it loses the text. i have a plugin where you can edit signs after placeing them, and when i try to edit them it comes back. is the text hidden?

You should make this plugin work with a WorldEdit wand to make an easier land protection.

 

Will this be updated for 1.2?

 

Please can you update the plugin? I know you may have other things to do, but i (and many other people, i think) will be very happy. My server will be happy too, 'cause it hasn't got protections now .

ummm, would love to try it, but using drop box was obviously not the best idea. the drop box page is "reciving too much traffic and has been temporaily locked" temporaily being so far 2 days.

 

The download is fault! I can't download the .jar file!
