Yeditor (Yedit) v1.2 [ALL] (β)
Description
Yeditor allows you to edit the the permissions file in game. Similar to that of hMods modify commands. At the moment it is fairly limited but i will extend as time persists .

Works on 2.5.1 Permissions! (Default world name).
Note: It changes the format of your config. This is nothing to worry about the permissions will still work.


Features:
Note requires Permissions.
Also add "yeditor.editor" as a permission node for editors.
* /yt(/yedit) add <player> <group> - Adds player to a group.
* /yt del <player> - Removes the player altogether from the permissions.
* /yt modify <player> <group> - Changes a players group.
* <font color="rgb(255, 0, 0)">/yt addC <group|player> <command.node> - Adds a command node to a group or player. Not updated.</font>
* Then once done type /permissions to reload permissions.

When i try to add a player to an existing group i've got :

[YEDIT]: Error : Could not add player.

Any idea ? i am the server's owner, with admins credentials.

 

Currently this edits the .yml file wrongly, and uses incorrect indentation for me, this would also be the cause of Crazyball's error.

I really need a fix for this asap.

It can't find a user on any of my commands :/
I am running craftbukkit 347 atm. Though I have a bunch of plugins, but I doubt any of them are interfering..

I cannot login for the latest Mc update. So i cannot test. :/

 

Use Minecraft.net itself to login.Everyone's been having issues with the actual launcher itself.

A fix for 1.3/ permissions 2.1 would be very nice. Waiting.... ;-)

 

Fix for Bukkit 400+ is out.
It works on Permissions 2.1 but everyone has access to the commands. (Will fix).
So for now it will only work on Permissions 2.0.

 

Using a commands messes up my permissions config so its all not on seperate lines.
Any way to fix this?

 

That's the way it formats it. It doesn't mess up the config it still works.

 

Any news on an update for Permissions 2.1?

First of all, thank you very much for providing this awesome plugin!

But I have a bug with it.

I've the right to use 'yeditor.editor', this is the user definition in config.yml of Permissions (im under 2.0)

Code:

    scopiton:
        group: mod
        permissions:
            - 'yeditor.editor'
            - 'essentials.*'

But then, if I do a change group of myself ingame, yeditor will erase all of my personnals permissions.

/yt modify scopiton groups member

And this now my new user description:

As you can see, I can't stay a yeditor if I change myself in the group... Can you fix that?

Another things: can you add an option that list all players of a group for example, or give the group of a specific player?

I know it still works, but its hard to manually add permissions.
Any way to make Yedit work with the individually lined permissions?

There is no way to do it.
Infact i think it is easier to edit this way.

Any way this'll become compatible with Permissions 2.4?
I can use it right now,but I get an error saying it can't find the config.yml,which is renamed to my world name...

Thats not my plugin it's Permissions 2.4
I think it has changed to /permissions reload all
You will have to check the post.

 

nice and easy plugin, but i must it format my permissions file? i like the old structure where everything is clear...

 

You get used to the new format. It's easier to use in some aspects.
