Plugin Help I need help with <> in the chat

    Hello,

    I am a fairly new server owner but I have had my fair share of plugins in the past but one thing I cannot get around right now is EssentialsChat and these Carrot Symbols < > When people chat...

    I have removed the Carrot Symbols in EssentialsChat and I do have factions where I have removed the Chat-Format but it still appears. I could really use some help, I do have a lot of plugins and no errors come up, but I really do want to get rid of the <>.

    One other problem I have is that food bars are stuck at 9 and most players complain about that they cannot eat or me to /feed or /heal them.
