How do you delete your Craftbukkit file?

I may sound like a noob, but honestly whenever I attempt to delete the file, its always being used by another program (Java I think). How do I stop this and delete my craftbukkit file.

I am running Windows 7...

Do you have the server currently running? If it is running stop the server and try to delete it. If it still will not delete, restart your PC and try to delete it.

 

Kill all java processes in taskmanager and try again, should work, because this works for me.

That works too.... It just doesn't shut down the server cleanly.

 

No problem.

 

You shouldn't have to kill the process. If you have a console, just type /stop and then close it.

 

didn't work for me

this is annoying, how do i delete this file? i get no console, nothing the .lck and craftbukkit-1.1-R6 wont delete
