How do I make an addon?

    Im completely familiar with quite a few programming languages. Java being one of them. Somewhat atleast..

    What program would I use to make a mod for bukkit?
    Ex
    Dreamweaver handles html (BASICALLY)
    Adobe Flash handles Actionscript 3


    What handles Java? Or what handles bukkit?
    Can I get a gettin started guide?
