hey, im using beastnode to host my server. a player came into my server (my server is a pvp faction server) and he got killed. he said give me 64 diamond blocks or ill dose your server! i didnt listen to him cus i was building and i dont want to give him that. then the server crashed. the server has been crashing for awhile now. is there anyway i can fix this? if there is please tell me! i dont want to lose any members!
No lmao, he's probably DOSing the server. Contact BeastNode to see if if they can figure out the issue, if the server is being DOSed ask if they have any methods of mitigation?
Open up your log files and look for his login entry. Get his IP address (assuming he wasn't behind a proxy) and see if you can find a way to block that IP from connecting at all, meaning, he can't send a single packet to your server. It's gonna be tricky. It's going to be flat-out impossible if beast-node doesn't allow SSH access. Go google it around the web.
Open up your logs and find his IP, hopefully he's not using a proxy. If you do block that IP from connecting a packet to your server. If it still continues cause he uses proxies, contact BeastNode and do legal action if you want.
