    Word to the wise, Hooking into another plugin, especially the world* ones, is somewhat a suicidal idea for a "newby" programmer. I don't mean to put you off, but perhaps get to know how to make a self contained (doesn't use other plugins) plugin first. Then dive into the worldguard javadocs.
