High CPU Usage (TPS Issues)

    Recently our server has been lagging alot recently, what happens is the server is perfectly fine for a few hours then suddenly the CPU goes up to 100% In Multicraft, I get Low TPS (5 TPS). I ran "NoLagg Examines" and found out that the plugins AntiCheat, Towny, mcMMO, and LWC were up on top. I removed the plugins for a restart but the issue persists. I took a closer look inside the NoLagg examine and noticed a specific event that used the most ms, and that was the "PlayerMoveEvent" that all the plugins had in common.

    Here is a full plugin list with its versions:

    You could always just turn on plugin timings in the bukkit.yml instead of using a plugin to get that information. Note, that gives you only a very small view of what may be causing lag. Its good information to report to the makers of those plugins, but it won't necessarily indicate what is causing you lag. The best method is still trial and error - remove plugins one by one to see which ones are causing you grief.

    on a side note what sort of player count are we talking here? I also agree with TnT also in the trial and error method

    The server only has about 10-20 players on at a time, with a max of 64 with 4GB of Ram. It is on a shared hosting environment however the other servers on the node don't have any issues at all. Just me.

    However I will try once again at the Trial and Error method to see if we can cure it this way.
