Hide Plugins from Query

Is there any way to hide the plugin list when querying the server? The only thing I can think of is setting up a firewall.

This has been added as an option in the latest dev builds. You have to add a new line to your bukkit.yml file.

query-plugins: false

That isn't the most recent build, just the one that option was added in.

It hides it using the query protocol (tested and proven), but you can still find the plugins via in-game commands or console commands. Block the permissions for those commands to hide them as well.

 

So if i set query-plugins: false in server.properties and set up -bukkit.command.plugins permission for everyone, the plugins will not displayed in query and in game too (just for users who have perm)?

 

Well, that depends on your permission plugin. I use bPermissions, so for me its ^bukkit.command.plugins. If that is how you negate the node using your permission plugin, than yes, that will get you your desired results.
