Filled Hide players from other players

I am running an smp and two players fight and I'd like to suggest a plugin where you can make a player and his chat invisible to another one, but not to the rest of the server , so player 2 cannot see player 1 and vice versa , but player 3 would be able to see them all .

If it already exists inform me , if not it is a neat suggestion (i need it)

There is an /ignore command from essentials, but that only handles chat and PMs as far as I know. I could probably make this as a quick five minute plugin. Would it be okay for me to just make it a sort of 'addon' to essentials, so all the plugin I'll write does is make it so the player cannot be seen, and then the plugin automatically executes the essentials command so it can block chat and PMs?
