The kits are something from essentials, you can edit/add kits in the essentials config file.

can't see it in my config in essentials.
the config file is VERY messy. any way to fix that?
    looks like
edit: DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THIS, is all in 5 lines.

    # If you receive an error when Essentials loads, ensure that:
    # - No tabs are present: YAML only allows spaces
    # - Indents are correct: YAML heirarchy is based entirely on indentation
    # - You have "escaped" all apostrophes in your text: If you want to write "don't", for example, write "don''t" instead (note the doubled apostrphe)
    # - List items are prefixed with a hyphen and indented:

    # not:
    # - like this
    # - Text with symbols is enclosed in single or double quotation marks
    # - CraftBukkit and Permissions have been updated: CraftBukkit and Essentials almost always line up, but sometimes other plugins fall behind CraftBukkit's multiple daily updates

You need edit the configuration in Essentials/config.yml and go find #Essential Global# and edit.

    --------------------------------------------------------------

    I go teach all:
    This is the default:

    kits:
    nb:
    delay: 5
    items:
    - 269 1
    - 270 1
    - 271 1

    How to edit:

    kits: #not change
nb: #the name of the kit
delay: 5 #the delay is time in seconds to use the kit,i use 36000s =12h/half of day why is good to not do lag
items: #list of the items, you need put - id of item and the amount, for example: - 269 1
    - 269 1 #this is a wooden shovel
    - 270 1 #this is a wooden pickaxe
    - 271 1 #this is a wooden axe

Now,let's create a kit it is called "knightset":
You need first copy and paste the default configuration, after you go change the name/delay/items.
    And will look like this:

    kits:
    nb:
    delay: 5
    items:
    - 269 1
    - 270 1
    - 271 1
    knightset:
    delay: 36000
    items:
    - 268 1
    - 298 1
    - 299 1
    - 300 1
    - 301 1
    - 322 1

    --------------------------------------------------------------

Now you can create ur kits!

If you have a question, send me a message in profile(opcional,i see the forum all days!)

    NOW ENJOY !!!

A MEMBER SEND A QUESTION TO ME,I GO SHOW TO ALL THAT HAVE THE SAME QUESTION HERE:

hm,kits of others ranks...you need configure the groups that you created.

    1.Create a kit.for example:

Go to server/Plugins/Essentials/Config.yml and go to the #Essential Global#

    kits:
nb: #this is the name of the kit that you go create, and is the name in the game too
    delay: 5
items: #the items of the kit.
    - 269 1
    - 270 1
    - 271 1

    --------------------------------------------------------------

After you create your kits will change the groups that can use this kit, using permissions.

    Now you go to:

    Server/Plugins/GroupManager/Worlds/youworld/config.yml

Now,create the permission and edit your groups that you go use.

    kits:
nb: <<< This is the name of the permission, now you put essentials.kitname
    delay: 5
    items: #
    - 26......................

    --------------------------------------------------------------

    And will look like this:
essentials.kit.nb <<< The "nb" is the name of the Kit,understand? XD
    --------------------------------------------------------------
    Now,we go edit the groups.

    groups:
    Player:
    default: true
    permissions:
#You go put the permissions that you created up /\,here.
for example,in all of this,go be:
    - essentials.kit.nb
    inheritance:
    info:
    prefix: '&e'
    build: true
    suffix: ''

    --------------------------------------------------------------

NOW ENJOY AND BE HAPPY ;D

If you have a question, send me a message in profile(opcional,i see the forum all days!)

That is very helpful HeroBrat, and where do you put the name for the permissions?

    Like this?

    essentials.kit.<NAME>

    Is that how?

    Gabian65

Nope. It's not essentials.kit.[kitname], it's essentials.kits.[kitname]... It will work only like this... If you use PEX, the syntax shall be like this: "pex group [group] add essentials.kits.[kitname]. Now it shall work.
