Help with Essentials Group Manager (prefixes)

So if i add fake permission it will work?
Do i have to edit something (config.yml or else) once installed?
Do i have to delete permissionbukkit or can i just leave it...

I have permissions, not bridge.

You have permissionsBukkit installed?

We have been setting up GroupManager this whole time... If you are using Group Manager you need to remove permissoinsBukkit.

You can't have two types of Permissions installed, as @Sh8kezula said.

 

OK, now I have: Essentials (Chat, GroupBridge and GroupManager); Permissions; PermissionsBukkit; I'm an Owner, but in the server chat i'm [default]

Go download and Install HeroChat, its 10x better and easier then Both EssentialsChat and iChat, the only problem with HeroChat is that it doesn't work correctly with Permissions 3.x but you are using Group Manager so you shouldn't worry about it

 

Why would you ever recommend such a heavyweight plugin just for prefixes? HeroChat is only good if you want channels. iChat is better for simplicity.

You are all wrong actually go into your essentials main config file and look for global and it should say Prefix and suffix set that to true and delete the #.
