+ Help: Making Inventories Cross over from one World to another

Our server is having a map reset and we need to be able to cross our players inventories from the world we are going to remove to a new fresh world/map. If you could provide me with some info on this it would help alot.

That information is saved in the 'players' folder within the world folder. you could copy that over...

 

Multiverse core and Multiverse Inventories will do that if configured correctely.

 

he didn't say that his server was going to have multiworlds... he is going to delete the old world and replace it with a new one.

 

Well we are allowing the players to take the items over multiverse to the new world. Once everyone has done so we will continue deleting the old world and making the new one the current world.

Just so they can bring items back and fourth from each of those worlds.

why is everyone suggesting multiverse inventories? that will give them a new inventory for the new world...

 

I'm just want to make it so they can go to our spawn go through a portal into a new world and still have their inventories.

 

You can configure it so that they are shared.

 

or you can not use it at all and it is automatically shared across all worlds.

 

Copy over the player.dat files no the new world simples =)

 

only problem with that may be the current Location of the players.

 

im pretty sure you can change those settings to make it transfer.....

 

it seems in his case they werent transferring when he didnt have mutiverse....
maybe im misunderstandning
