   I understand I would most likely need WorldGuard.
   
   What would I set in my config, the 'mobs' to false?
   
   I don't really want to allow mobs in the whole world when I just want one Mob Arena.

   i dont ave mob arena but i think you set it to false but the mobs will still spawn there

   You could turn off mob spawning with worldguards __global__ region then enable it on a region you define only
