   How can i find out what version of bukkit i have and what is the newest version.
   if there is an update how would i be able to find it and download it?

   Open your craftbukkit.jar with winrar.
   Open /META-INF/MANIFEST.MF with texteditor.
   Look out for : Build-Version: git-Bukkit-something-135
   
   Aha, i'm using Version #135
   
   To find the newest Version just look at http://bamboo.lukegb.com/browse/BUKKIT-CRAFTBUKKIT/

   Just replace old with new jar file.
   There are a few update scripts in the forum.
   Don't know if you're using Linux or Windows.
