[HELP] DupeIP *#*#*#*#*

Hey,
I started coding this plugin: DupeIP!
It was inspirated by the feature of Ultrabans (and code taken from it, too).

I don't know how to continue now. Pls have a look in the files I uploaded and help me to bring this plugin up and work.

So... you just admitted to taking code from Ultrabans?

 

It's open source, there's no problem with taking code from it.

 

Well when you don't understand what the code is or does (which I assume he doesn't). Its not a good idea to steal code then.

 

Just because its open source doesnt mean that you can go right ahead and take anything you want from it. You still have to obey whatever license the code is under.

 

I'm aware of this, Ultrabans happens to be licensed under the CC BY-NS-SA 3.0 license. (I checked before I posted)

 

So this what I made is not allowed?
I though it is open source and I gave credit to the respective owner, but if you don't think so... Tell me how I should do it else. I'm very new.
