   Hey, what I am trying to do is have an armorstand fly above a players head smoothly. Tping every tick isn't doing it properly. I know I may have to create a custom entity but please don't link me to a tutorial, I have seen those and they make my mind explode.

   what about setting the armor stand as a passenger of the player? maybe with an invisible mob underneith so the armorstand is higher

   The only problem with that would be collision detection above the player.

   @FisheyLP You can't actually set an armorstand as a passanger of a player, tried that already
