Hardware set up questions

    I am currently looking at migrating my server from my PC to a standalone server. I plan on using this server for other things, such as playing movies on TV's around my house, storing music, etc.

    I am looking at getting an Intel Xeon E3110 and an ASUS p5G41T motherboard with 8gb of Ram. I have a spare case,power supply, and hard drives at my house, and wasn't sure of what other items I should add. Any suggestions?
