Inactive [GEN] Toggle Game Mode v0.3 - does what the name says [1317]

    No. I will not support anything except Bukkit Permissions by default. I am working on transitioning to libperms (my own code, not available in public yet) and then you'll be able to add other backends. But not now, sorry.

    Also, libperms is my plugin that works the other way around, e.g. <any other permission plugin here> to Bukkit permissions, so people don't have to convert. I will not be writing backends for it except for Permissions 3, which is simple. Other people could add PermissionsEx, Permissions 2 or whatever they like using. But I still suggest everyone to convert.

  4. if you have essentials it could also conflict with that because it uses /tgm foR godmode

    @K900 I'm having some trouble. Is there a way to set the command to something other than "/tgm"? I have Essentials and it's overriding your plugin.

    please make spout optional, for just a hotkey there is no reason to make spout obligatory.

    Is there a way you could make it purchasable for a set amount of time? Example, a player pays X in game currency for 30 min of creative mode?

    Is there anyway you could disable the default /gamemode command?
    And as someone suggested, please make it clear that you need Spout for this, and also make it optional to need Spout. Thanks!

    Aliases are /m and /mode. It should load after Essentials, so they'll be there.
    Go to the GitHub link and press the large Download button on the right.

    I thought of it, but that can be used for griefing... I'd wait until you can toggle some features of creative mode with Bukkit or will have to write some degriefing measures. Anyway, it's not a priority for me, but I'll see what I can do.

    Can you turn off the hotkey or at least change which key is assigned as the hotkey? I have Z configurated to do something else from another plugin, and well, I think you get the idea.

    I'll make a build just for you in a sec. New Spoutcraft will allow you to rebind keys.
    UPD: Oh wait, I just made it configurable.

    Pushed to GitHub. Will not be releasing it now because it seems my HDD is going bad and I need to rescue the server data.

  14. Really usefull plugin, love it, but it changes my gamemode when i teleport to people.

    Are people you teleport to in another world? If so, do you have settings for this world in config? As I don't know of a way to see how someone teleported, so I handle all teleports in general. I might add a permission for ignoring that later.

    You don't have Spout installed (or so it seems). I fixed it on GitHub, but can't test. After I recover my HDD, I'll release 0.3.1 which will not strictly depend on Spout.

    So, here it is. It's a test build of 0.3.1, which I compiled on my laptop with Win7, some really old JDK6, some random version of Maven and a autogenerated zip (not even a clone) of my source repo. In other words, it's likely completely broken and not working at all. But you're free to try ;)

    Just to confirm, binding the toggle to a key is a spout only feature?

    The hotkey needs Spout and Spoutcraft to work. Also, what Java version are you running it on? I think I might have built it for JDK7 %) (yes, that's the one you shouldn't use for anything)

  21. no, i'm just simply teleporting to them while there in the same world, not even in nether. any chance of a white list for players to have creative mode enabled all the time? perhaps a continued config whitelist=creative mode T/F

    This looks like the plugin I've been looking for, but I don't completely understand the configuration file.


    Edit: I was right. Thanks for this awesome plugin!

    I have one idea: how about a default: "world" setting that if the world is not listed, use the specified gamemode.

    Hmm. Yeah, got it. That was me handling teleports in a crappy way. Will fix.
    Default is 'not change', and that's probably how it's going to be.

    That's an unstable build so I don't want to update the OP. I'll update when I compile and test something stable.

    Working perfectly for me at the moment! Great Job!
    Only one major bug so far, I run a survival server with a separate creative world, if players dig past the bedrock barrier in the creative world, and die in the void, they respawn back in my survival world with creative mode still active. Any ideas on how to fix this?
