I think he means the own bans, not the global ones.

 

well that would be easy just copy names from mcbans local backup to your local backup

 

I know... but it is impossible to get the global ones, and so I have to stay on McBans.

Now i installed the plugin, but it throws exception all the time and let's the game lag.

Your "error" is not a real error, the line after that there should be a "[glizer debug] ok" output.

we'll have to investigate that, but the plugin and the server are running fine for us... can you give us some more details? for ex with enabled debug mode?

 

Thank god something either than mcbans, there support system sucks / global ban system sucks So i recommend making a whole new way of actually, in mcbans there's no way the user can actually dispute or even prove that they weren't greifing, sense the server can easily fake proof theres not much you can do. So I guess i would balance that out a bit.

on CB 887 and I banned someone globally but they logged back in like a day later ? If I ban someone I expect them to be set to lowers rating for us and banned.

Secondly that silly API key is failing to work still as my other post says it all really. oh and playerrateing apprently says its not impliment in this version.

w/o a working api key your account cant communicate with the glizer server - so no "OK" from it and no ban. The main problem is, that we have about 20 servers running perfectly and we cant debug it. we need more informations how to reproduce the problem.

well I know what the issue is its due to fact I cannot Wrap ' ' around the API key every time I do it reverts back to non 'APIkey' on server start.

We now use CB 887 I dunno if its that but thats the error I have with it Config seems to just hate me.

Iv tried it all and it reset the config every time removing the ' ' from Api and anyting I put ' ' on im going back to mcbans that alwayas worked every single time no issues with the apikeys.

Hi beecup - ich spiele auf Deinem Server und ich habe einen kleinen Server am laufen wo ich ab und mal was mit Freunden und deren Bakannten bastel - Wollte nun mal das glizer PlugIn von Dir testen, musste aber leider feststellen, dass ich mich mit meinem E-Mail Konto anscheid nicht Registrieren kann, mein Konto ist bei Googlemail, wäre echt dufte wennde das fixen könntest wenn Googlemail wirklich nicht kompatibel ist.

Es kam werder eine InGame Nachricht, noch eine E-Mail und JA mein E-Mailkonto ist richtig angegeben.

 

Howdy, plugin looks interesting - I like that you can set the "banborder" and the praise option.

Just a question regarding the above - if the server cannot contact the glizer server the player doesn't get banned? Does the plugin report an error at the time and would it be possible to change this so that the player is still banned locally? I can imagine mods no noticed an error message (if any) and thinking a player has been banned properly.

 

The main Problem is, if glizer is down, user gehts timeout, error and the server lags for 2-5 seconds.
So I have to use mcb, if glizer is updated. ;(

Idea:
Change the commands with a "g" in front, /gban, /gtempban etc...
So we could use Glizer together with other ban systems

This is a very nice player manager system not only can you ban player but leave notes and comments for over server owners to see. 8/10

 

We updated the server software.
Now you can add a callback handler upon each ban, for example if you want to create your own ban-listing or creating custom forum threads for each ban in case you want to make it disputable Just change your server settings for details.

 

@wmchris, I moving in from McBans to glizer and I hope its a good move since I had some bad experience with McBans.

Anyway I'm having problem setting it up..I've set it up as the tutorial and I tried to ban one of my friend (testing purpose)..He gets kicked from the server and it says 'You have been from the server. Visit glizer.net'..So I asked him to try to join, and he can join..Is there anything wrong on what I've done?..I've set up the API key with proper step..

And another thing when I ban him, I get into the website (glizer.net) and check for the his name, and no bans is recorded on his account..So i tried to ban him using the website (glizer.net) and it works..he cant join the server..

Why I cant ban from my server?..Even if I can, the user is able to come in back..I really appreciate your reply..

Just checked it on our server, works fine. your server was online for only 20minutes, maybe there is a problem with the connection? anyway, if you ban someone it should've been written to the local banfile. can you post a log?

 

@wmchris, Thats because I disabled the plugin as I cant ban user using ur plugin as stated on the previous reply..

Anyway Ive enabled the plugin back and made the server online on glizer.net..

beecub i cant connect to glizer.net it just keeps giving me a 504 gateway timeout
